{Fall Family Activity} Corn Maze

Fall activity

A fall family tradition for our family is going to a corn maze each year. It really is fun for kids of all ages and adults too! Each year we have gone, my kids have liked it for different reasons. This year my 3 1/2 year old daughter especially loved it and really used her imagination to make it extra fun!

She was super excited about being “the leader”, she  kept telling us that we needed to follow her and do what she said because she was the leader. Hmm, I think the power was going to her head just a bit. We sang “we’re following the leader, the leader, the leader, we’re following the leader wherever she may go”. She thought that was pretty funny.

She was interested to learn that these stalks were how corn was grown (see educational too!)

She gave up being the leader for a bit so she could hold hands with daddy

She was sure to stop us to use her “map” to make sure we were going in the right direction. She was pretending to be a pirate and she was trying to find the “x that marks the spot”.

We had a great time doing the corn maze this year. It is something I really recommend as a fun fall activity for families, make it a tradition and you won’t regret it!
