This is a tradition that my mom has been doing with her grandchildren for many years. I am so excited to start the tradition with my own daughter this year. I love that children believe in magic and I want to bring as much “magic” into my daughters life as possible.
To make Reindeer Food you’ll need:
- Oats
- Glitter
Here is the poem that goes along with it. Click HERE for this free printable.
Simply, combine all ingredients and put in a sandwich bag!
There you have it! On Christmas Eve let your children sprinkle the magic Reindeer Food on the lawn!

Love the poem! Such a cute idea! We did this last year but we had forgotten about it! So cute!
Thank you! It really is so fun for the kids and SO simple to do.
too cute!
Thank you Jaime!!
