Who doesn’t love pumpkin pie in the fall? Now what if we took that classic dessert and turned it into a healthy and delicious smoothie? You on board? Great! Let’s get started!
This is a smoothie I have been making for breakfast for months and my 16 month old daughter LOVES it and requests it each morning! It makes me happy knowing that it is packed with all sorts of healthy goodness like fiber, protein, and tons of Vitamin A.
For this recipe you will need:
-1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
-1/4 cup plain or vanilla 0% fat greek yogurt
-1/2 cup of pumpkin puree (not pumpkin PIE puree!)
-1 TB stevia (or your preferred sweetener)
-1 tsp cinnamon (adjust to taste)
-1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (adjust to taste)
-1- 1 1/2 cup ice (depending if you like it thick)
Add all the ingredients and blend!
Pure pumpkin goodness! This is a nice festive drink for the fall season that is a guaranteed hit with you (and your kids!).
