Vacation

We took our first major family vacation since Isabella was born and it was quite the experience! Isabella had a hard to time adjusting and being off her normal routine so we really tried to balance our activities with things that would be fun and educational for her, in addition to the things that we wanted to do as adults.

We went to Seattle, WA for a week and it was quite a shock  for us weather wise. We left 90 degree weather and when we landed we were in 50 degree weather with major rain! We decided to try and make the best of it.

We took a ferry ride to Bainsbridge Island, all 3 of us enjoyed the ride. Despite the cold weather, the views were beautiful.

 On Bainsbridge Island we took a walk along the rocky beach to see what we could find. We found all sorts of seashells and clam shells.

 Isabella was enjoying filling the shell with rocks and then closing it.

We then went to the EMP, which is a music experience museum. They had rooms where you could play actual instruments, Isabella had a blast playing the keyboard but I think it was her daddy who had the most fun.

To top it all of, Isabella had her first ice cream cone! I think she was quite partial to it.

It had its rough moments but overall it was a great family vacation that we can look back and have so many great memories!

The highlight of the whole trip for her? That would be chasing pigeons!
