We printed our bucket lists out and stuck them on our fridge and when we complete one we check it off. It is nice to have a general idea of things we want to get done.
You can make this even more fun if you have older kids. The Unlikely Homeschool has this cute idea.
Have all your children write on slips of paper the things they most would like to do during the summer. Then put them all in a jar, don’t forget yours too! This can also give you some spontaneity because you can just pick something random out of the jar.
