It is funny how the simplest things can be an enormous amount of fun for children. We have done this is the past when my daughter has been has been sick and she adores it. After being trapped indoors for an extended piece of time both my daughter and I get a little stir crazy. This is just one of many inside activities for kids. We decided to make a simple fort out of a blanket and a few chairs. We haven’t done it for awhile, so she was really excited.
This is a simple way to get on the floor and play together
This is a very simple “fort” and I look forward to the years ahead when we will craft more elaborate forts together.
What are your quick and easy activities to keep your children entertained?

Very cute! My youngest is obsessed with helping me make the bed since he can play under the sheets

Welcome and thanks for following! I will be checking out your blog!
I do this with my daughters a lot too. One of our bedrooms was converted to a playroom. We’ve set up a tent one night and it became a permanent fixture in one corner for storytelling nights.
New follower from bloggy moms. I’m looking forward to reading more from you soon.
Cheers,

Thank you! Thank you for following, I am now following you back!
I really need to do this with my kids. They would have a blast!
You should, it is so simple and Isabella really has a blast.
This is a great thing to do. My daughters love when my husband and I play camp with them by making tents like this.
