I am sorry that things have been a little slow around here, we have been on a family vacation.
Starting next week, I will be featuring some fun activities to do in celebration of the Fourth of July.
We will be starting it off by reading Corduroy’s Fourth of July by Don Freeman.
We will then read Fourth of July, Sparkly Sky by Joan Holub.
Both of these are board books and are great way to introduce the concept of the Fourth of July to your toddler.
For older children, the following books have great reviews on Amazon.com
The Story of America’s Birthplace by Patricia A. Pingry
Happy 4th of July, Jenny Sweeny by Leslie Kimmerman
We The Kids by David Catrow
Next week we will be doing several Fourth of July activities for kids including- Independence Day Sensory Bin, Star and Stripes Painting with Greek Yogurt, and more!
Make sure to check back for these fun activities!
Do you have a favorite Fourth of July book?
